Grant Bid Writer

The Grant Bid Writer is responsible for writing grant proposals that secure funding for GrassRootsWeb's projects and services. This includes researching funding opportunities, developing strong project proposals, and managing the grant writing process.

responsibilities

  • Research funding opportunities that align with GrassRootsWeb's mission and goals.

  • Develop project proposals that clearly articulate the need for funding, the project's goals, and the benefits of the project.

  • Manage the grant writing process from start to finish, including coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, tracking deadlines, and submitting proposals on time.

  • Build and maintain relationships with funders.

  • Stay up-to-date on trends in grant writing and funding.

  • Other duties as assigned.

This role may range from a few hours a week to a couple of hours a day depending on workload but is very compatible with other commitments such as full time employment, part time employment and university studies.
