Project Manager

Remote | Volunteer; London Timezone (GMT+1)  
6 hours/week minimum

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of web design projects for GrassRootsWeb's clients. This includes managing the volunteer teams, coordinating with clients and the Head of Client Relations, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the volunteers, including assigning teams, tracking progress, and resolving issues.

  • Coordinate with clients to gather requirements and ensure that projects meet their needs.

  • Develop project plans and budgets.

  • Track project progress and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Communicate with clients and the project team throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Manage risks and issues.

  • Ensure that projects meet all quality standards.

  • Other duties as assigned.

qualifications

  • Experience in project management, preferably in the web design industry.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

  • Strong attention to detail.

This role may range from a few hours a week to a couple of hours a day depending on workload but is very compatible with other commitments such as full time employment, part time employment and university studies.
